Patch Adams
Dr. Hunter "Patch" Adams is a medical doctor, clown, social activist, and author who has spent 40 years working to reform healthcare. He believes that laughter, joy, and creativity are essential to healing and that healthcare should be free. In 1989, Adams founded the Gesundheit Institute, a non-profit organization that advocates for a holistic rural hospital community.
